Graduation

Are you ready to graduate? If you have completed or are in the last semester of coursework, apply for graduation by the deadline listed below.

You may be eligible to graduate at the end of the semester, however, DSLCC’s commencement ceremony is only held in the spring. Students who are eligible to graduate in the spring, as well as those students who graduated during the previous summer and fall semesters, are encouraged to participate in commencement.

If you lack any credit hours of completing your program requirements at the end of the spring semester, you may participate in DSLCC’s commencement ceremony, providing you are enrolled in the necessary coursework in the following summer term. No exceptions will be made.

Graduation application deadline are as follows:

Fall graduation: October 1st through October 31st

Spring graduation: November 1st through January 31st (Spring 2021 deadline has been extended to February 26).

Summer graduation: July 1st through July 31st

To apply for graduation, please use our online graduation application using your myDabney email. Summer 2020 graduates will walk in Spring 2021, unless you applied for Spring 2020 graduation and are completing classes in the Summer.

Your cap and gown can be ordered in preparation for commencement starting in October. Get more information and click here to order your cap/gown.
