Complete the first two years of a four-year discipline that combines general education with fundamentals of sound business theories and practices. Transfer to a four-year college or university, majoring in fields such as accounting, economics, finance, management or marketing.

Learn the skills needed to effectively manage a business. Become knowledgeable in all aspects necessary to own and/or operate a successful business.  Study accounting, marketing, management principles, economics and organizational behavior.

Complete required courses in massage and bodywork training, musculoskeletal structure/function and health awareness. Learn the business issues related to managing a successful massage therapy business.  Prepare for the national certification examination and work in a variety of settings such as clinics, salons, day spas or full-service resorts.
