Employment Outlook

Associate of Arts and Sciences curricula are designed for students who plan to complete a baccalaureate program at a four-year college or university.  Course requirements are intended to provide a balanced foundation in general education.  Some elective courses introduce students to career areas in which they have an interest such as business or education, but opportunities to focus on specific careers in greater depth will be more numerous at the four-year institution to which the student will transfer.  Most colleges and universities offers juniors and seniors many opportunities for resume preparation, job interview practice and chances to attend career fairs to meet with prospective employers.
