Wood Technology Career Studies Certificate
The Wood Technology Career Studies Certificate is intended to provide a distinct segment of the forestry industry with skilled workers. This certificate will provide the student with skill sets requisite for employment in sawmilling and wood products.

- Sawyer
- Kiln technician
- Supervisor
- Saw Mill manager
Program Requirements
Students are required to complete work-based experiences and volunteer experiences.
The Forest Management Department will assist with placement; however, the student is ultimately responsible for locating and retaining the position as a volunteer or paid employee.
Students must achieve an overall 2.0 GPA ("C" average) in the 29 credit hours of required curriculum courses to be awarded a Career Studies Certificate in Wood Technology.
