Lancaster Scholarship for

Continuing Students

This scholarship was created to assist DSLCC students who have completed at least one year of study (minimum of 24 credit hours) and plan to return to DSLCC as a full time student to complete his/her program of study. Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. 

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Reside in College service area and be eligible for in-state tuition


  2. Have completed at least one year (24 or more credit hours) of study at DSLCC

  3. Be a full-time student at DSLCC during the year in which the scholarship is in effect

  4. Have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher

  5. Include with your application a short essay explaining how DSLCC is helping you to achieve your educational, occupational, and personal goals.

  6. Include two letters of recommendation (letters from family members are not acceptable)

  7. Include official DSLCC transcript

YOU MUST ENSURE THAT YOUR APPLICATION, ALONG WITH YOUR OFFICIAL DSLCC TRANSCRIPT, ESSAYS AND TWO LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION (OTHER THAN FAMILY MEMBERS) ARE RECEIVED BY THE FOUNDATION OFFICE NO LATER THAN May 15, 2009. YOUR APPLICATION MAY BE PRINTED AND DELIVERED IN PERSON OR MAILED TO THE ADDRESS BELOW.
