Non-Traditional Students

This Scholarship was established to provide financial assistance for an adult who chose not to pursue a post-secondary education immediately after high school graduation, but now wishes to enroll in college to gain marketable job skills, facilitate thier career advancement or successfully change career paths.

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Be an adult who did not pursue the traditional path of enrolling in post-secondary education immediately upon graduation from high school

  2. Be a high school graduate or possess a GED Certificate

  3. Submit a short essay on your career goals (where do you see yourself in five years)?

  4. Include two letters of recommendation (letters from family members are unacceptable)

  5. Include official high school transcript or copy of GED Certificate


YOU MUST ENSURE THAT YOUR APPLICATION, ALONG WITH YOUR OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT AND TWO LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION (OTHER THAN FAMILY MEMBERS) ARE RECEIVED BY THE FOUNDATION OFFICE NO LATER THAN MONDAY, JUNE 1, 2009 YOUR APPLICATION MAY BE PRINTED AND DELIVERED IN PERSON OR MAILED TO THE ADDRESS BELOW.
