Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society Inducts 20 New Members

The Dabney S. Lancaster Community College Alpha PTK induction spring 2017Eta Omicron Chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society held a spring induction ceremony March 22, installing 20 new members. Katie Boggs and Rachel Gibson, chapter co-presidents for the 2016-2017 academic year, led the ceremony. Membership into PTK is by invitation only and is based on outstanding academic achievement. The Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society serves to recognize and encourage the academic achievement of two-year college students and provide opportunities for individual growth and development through honors, leader­ship and service programming.  The American Association of Community Colleges recognized PTK as the official honor society for two-year colleges.
