Introduction to Computers Course Begins April 10

A three-session course, “Introduction to Computers I”, is being offered by the Dabney S. Lancaster Community College non-credit program on the DSLCC man campus in Clifton Forge. The class will meet in Room 504, McCarthy Hall, on Mondays, April 10, 17 and 24, from 6 to 8:30 pm.

Accompanying textbooks may be purchased in the DSLCC bookstore or ordered by calling (540) 862-4322. Students should also bring a flash drive to class. This course is a continuation of “Computers for the Absolute Beginner” but is also suitable for beginning students.

“Introduction to Computers II”, a continuation of the Intro I course, includes instruction on the basics of Excel and PowerPoint. Intro II will meet on Mondays, May 8, 15 and 22, also from 6 to 8:30 pm. The same book is used for both Intro I and II.
