Herbalist to Teach Non-Credit Courses at DSLCC

Dabney S. Lancaster Community College is offering two non-credit courses this semester on the DSLCC Clifton Forge campus with herbalist and aromatherapist Chin Velasquez of Lexington as the instructor. Both classes will meet in Room 375, Scott Hall.

The first is “Essential Aromatherapy”, a beginner level class to introduce the use of essential oils and the cultivation of a holistic lifestyle. The class will meet on Tuesdays, April 24- May 15, from 6 to 7:30 pm. The tuition fee is $200, plus a $35 materials fee.

The second is “Introduction to Herbal Healing”, which will meet on Wednesdays, April 25- May 10, 6 to 7:30 pm. This is a class for beginners who want to learn about herbs and start using them in their daily lives. The tuition fee is $250, plus a $25 materials fee.
