Applying for Financial Aid

To apply for federal student aid, you will need to apply completing an online Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application. The FAFSA can be completed by visiting www.fafsa.gov. In order to log in, you will need to create an FSA ID. If you are a dependent student, you must also have an FSA ID for at least one parent.   • The FAFSA web address is fafsa.gov
  • DSLCC’s Federal School Code is 004996, you will need this while filing your FAFSA.
  • DSLCC’s FAFSA Priority Deadline is March 1. You may still file your FAFSA after our priority deadline; however, grant availability may be limited.
