At DSLCC, we understand your concern about paying for your college education. Our staff will assist you in navigating through the process of applying for financial aid, and inform you about the various programs available.
Viewing Your Financial Aid Status
Students can access their financial aid information on the Student Information System (SIS). To get to SIS, follow these steps:
- Log in to myDabney, and select “VCCS SIS: Student Information System” from the resulting menu of options
- Once in SIS, choose Self Service > Student Center > View Financial Aid
- Click the desired Aid Year. For Fall 2016, Spring 2017, and Summer 2017, the Aid Year is 2016-2017. You will see anticipated aid which assumes that you are enrolled full-time (12 or more credits). If you are enrolled less than full-time, the anticipated aid will be decreased proportionally to actual aid after the second week of classes. If the actual amount is not enough to pay all tuition, you must pay the balance due before the tuition payment deadline.
