Small Business Management
Career Studies Certificate
Purpose
The program introduces requirements necessary to initiate a small business utilizing financial and administrative controls, marketing strategies, and the managing of business operations.
Admission Requirements
Students who meet the admission requirements to the College are eligible for enrollment into the program. Students are expected to be proficient in basic English, mathematics and reading. Appropriate developmental courses are available for those who need to improve proficiency in these areas.
Program Requirements
The program requires completion of selected specialized courses. All electives must be approved prior to enrollment. A Career Studies Certificate is awarded upon completion of the program with an overall 2.0 GPA ("C" average).
