Institutional Effectiveness
and Research
Institutional research is important to support the mission of the College and continually assess the effectiveness of its programs and services. Information about students and programs of study is confidential and only used for the improvement of programs and services offered by DSLCC. A wide variety of data is captured and stored for analysis and review by local, state and/or federal representatives as mandated. The information is used for required reports and background material for grants and other documents as appropriate,
The College's courses and programs are meant to be available for all students in a positive learning environment. Administrators and faculty seek to set and maintain standards that support the highest possible levels of performance. To these ends, the staff of the Institutional Effectiveness/Institutional Research office is dedicated to operating in the most efficient manner possible and providing prompt and courteous service to both internal and external users.
