WELCOME
Welcome to the Dabney S. Lancaster Community College (DSLCC) Financial Aid web page. At DSLCC, we understand your concern about paying for your college education. Our staff will assist you in navigating through the process of applying for financial aid, and inform you about the various programs available.
It is the policy of Dabney S. Lancaster Community College, in accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), to withhold personally identifiable information contained in our students’ educational records unless the student has consented to disclosure or FERPA allows disclosure. Directory information, such as grades, class schedules, the student’s account, and financial aid awards may not be released without express consent from the student.

Please note these are the dates that we send the awards to the Business Office; the dates are subject to change. The Business Office runs their processes before sending the file to the Department of the Treasury in Richmond. Richmond has up to ten business days to process the file.
Please remember that all FA checks are mailed from Richmond. It may take 10-14 days from the disbursement date for you to receive your refund.
