Dabney S. Lancaster Community College (DSLCC) is a part of the Virginia Community College System, and is located on Interstate 64 in the Western part of Virginia, 25 miles west of the Shenandoah Valley and 40 miles northwest of Roanoke in the Alleghany Mountains. DSLCC is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (1866 Southern Lane, Decatur, Georgia 30033-4097; Telephone number: 404-679-4501) to award the following degrees: Associate in Arts and Sciences (A.A.&S.) and Associate in Applied Sciences (A.A.S.).

Teaching/Lead Simulation Faculty Position — Nursing
POSITION NO. F0045
This position is a full-time, ten-month teaching position in the Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) program. The program is accredited by the National League of Nursing (NLN). Incumbent will teach nursing classes in the program, and develop, perform, and instruct complex simulation exercises and laboratory experiences to facilitate student development of critical thinking, communication, collaboration skills, as well as daily nursing tasks and skills. Also, the position will assist faculty in the creative application of simulation learning methods and supervise and coordinate the day-to-day operation of the nursing simulation lab. |

Adjunct faculty member needed to teach a morning class in Math.

Welcome to the DSLCC’s job application process!
DSLCC is now using the Virginia Jobs online application process through the Department of Human Resouce Management. Only a application submitted through this process will be accepted. On-line applications must be submitted for all vacancies, to include full-time faculty and classified employees, hourly/wage employees (except student employees and work/study students), and adjunct faculty employees. In addition, to the on-line application, faculty position application packets must include a resume and copies of transcripts of all college work completed.
The Employment Application System is designed to run in a web browser over the Internet. The system supports browser versions of Netscape 4.7 and above and Internet Employer 5.5 and above. The site also requires you to have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed. A free download is available at www.Adobe.com. An e-mail address is also necessary to apply on-line.
