Gourmet Cooking

Series of Five Fun Classes With Chef Ed!

Thursdays, March 22 - April 19

6:00 to 8:30 p.m.

Moomaw Center, Dabney S. Lancaster Community College, main campus, Clifton Forge

Tuition: $150 for series of five classes; $35 for individual classes

Instructor: Chef Ed McArdle

Join “Chef Ed” (Ed McArdle) in this popular series of classes that wowed many area food aficionados in the spring of 2004 and 2005. The topics may remain the same, but the recipes will not. Chef Ed, head chef at the Garth Newel Music Center in Bath County, promises that new, exciting and tasty treats are in store! Or as Chef Ed puts it: “Enjoy good food and good friends and learn to cook like the pros!” Participants may register for the entire series of five classes for $150, or $35 for individual classes:

Chef Ed is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in New York. He built a solid following in Bath County during the late 1990s with two restaurants, The Muse, and later, Chef Ed’s Community Market, in Hot Springs. He has taught cooking classes for several years and was recently featured on a series of cooking segments that ran for 26 weeks on the Thursday noon news show for WDBJ-7.
