Freedom Painting

A basic and fun art class for beginning oil painters!

Mondays, March 5 - March 26

6:00 to 7:30 p.m.

Room 651, DSLCC Armory

Tuition: $75, plus cost of supplies, $60*

Instructor: Ray Tucker

Course# ARTS 1108-61

Join self-taught artist Ray Tucker in this four-week session for beginners and you’ll be happily painting beautiful pictures in oil on canvas by the end of the course! “I want people to learn how to paint without putting pressure on themselves, and to enjoy the process,” says Tucker. He has taught art classes in Covington and Clifton Forge for the past few years and several of his students have become accomplished artists. *”Freedom Painting” students should register by March 1 so that supplies may be purchased for each participant.

Students are asked to bring $50 to the first session on March 5 to pay for the packet of supplies, which will include the canvas, oils, brushes and a painting knife. Tuition and materials must be paid for separately.
