In this hands-on class, learn to produce attractive and professional-looking cakes with basic cake decorating techniques, such as different ways to level a cake, how to ice it without crumbs being in the final product, designing and making flowers, leaves, borders garlands and basket weaving and manipulating the consistency of icing to accomplish the desired result. The instructor, Beverly Taylor, has taught cake decorating for many years in the Alleghany Highlands.
