Introduction to Computer Aided Drafting I will focus primarily on the fundamental commands, techniques, and procedures of AutoCAD. Our computer lab will be equipped with AutoCAD 2006; however, most of what will be taught can extend to AutoCAD 2000, 2002, and 2004. The class will provide training in how to become a CAD operator with the basic knowledge and skills that many professions are looking for. A few of these skills will be key and mouse commands, model space and paper space navigation, xref management, drawing and file management, CAD vocabulary, layer management, and tips and techniques for increased productivity.
Clark hold a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech and is an experienced CAD operator/designer with a civil engineering firm.
