This 30 credit hour Certificate program is designed to provide a foundation that prepares students for the Hospitality field, as well as specific specialized areas.
The general admission requirements for the College apply to the program. For some specializations, students may be required to work outdoors in all seasons.
The curriculum requires completion of selected specialized courses. A student may select one of the following four specializations: Golf Operations, Hospitality Management, Recreational Leadership, and Turf Management. A Certificate is awarded upon completion of the program with an overall 2.0 grade point average. Students may also elect to complete only the courses (12 credit hours) required in one of the four specializations and receive a Career Studies certificate.
