An instructor will make arrangements with individual students to schedule behind-the-wheel training once a learner’s permit is obtained, and accompany the student to the DMV for the CDL exam to be administered. Students who have earned a CDL-A instructional permit or want to upgrade from CDL-B to CDL-A must attend one classroom session (usually held the second Saturday of the course) before starting behind-the-wheel training. Cost: $850.
